As a star quarterback and straight A student, Will Gray doesn't have much time to spare for his relationship which prompts his girlfriend to dump him. Their abrupt ending sends him running to his best friend, Devon Sanders, who offers comfort like he would under any other circumstances. But when Devon kisses Will, it catapults him into a world of emotions that he had never considered. He had always been straight and had always been masculine, so why was his body aroused by the male body? And when had he become attracted to his best friend? All these questions rack his brain as he tries to determine whether the stress of his break up inspired this reaction or whether he's been hiding his own sexuality throughout his life. An attraction forms between the two and Will finds himself struggling to reconcile these new feelings and the happiness he feels spending time with his best friend. While finding his way in the world of emotions, a teammate spots Will and Devon kissing and drama erupts. A fight ensues between Will and his teammate which gets them suspended from the team. It seems that some of his college peers aren't receptive to Will exploring his sexuality, even people he's known for years. Will feels as though he has been wronged and attempts to convince the coach and the school that he should be permitted to return to the team. Football is his life and he can't imagine living without it, but it seems to come in the way of his new budding relationship. His fight or flight response is kicking in. Will he be able to handle the heat brought on by this new attraction or will he crumble under the pressure? How can he expect his coach and team to accept his emotions when he can hardly reconcile them himself? Love and a little humor go a long way on this journey as Will Gray realizes when it rains, it pours. Please Note This book contains Adult Language & Steamy Adult Activities, it is intended for 18+ Adults Only. Novella, approx. 70,000 words in length. HEA (happy ever after ending). Does not end with a "cliffhanger".
Catch Me Jerry Cole Books
Catch Me may be a story, but those of us in the gay community have lived this chapter by chapter. No maybe we weren't the college jock/ history major, I wasn't, but we were the English major, the business major, the Art major and the theatre major. It's about coming to terms with who we are inside and being true to ourselves, no matter what we face and accepting it and finally being happy. Will faced the challenge we all have faced. The hurt, disrespect, threats and ultimately the tears and despair. It's not an easy decision to open the closest, but in time you understand you have to choose between fear and being who you are.Jerry Cole shows the good, bad and ugly things our minds race through. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did

Catch Me Jerry Cole Books Reviews
I can only repeat myself "If Jerry Cole wrote it, you know it is an excellent and a book worth reading
This was so good, I could not put it down. Talk about magic, it was more! Two people a little complicated, In love and then there was magic! Definitely a must read, by one of my favorite Authors! Many thanks, π―Honey Bee ππππΆ
What a wonderful story!!It not only tells a romance, but tackles all the other issues facing the gay community. My daughter is gay so this really hit home. I was moved to tears at several points in the story, and that doesn't happen often. Jerry Cole has outdone himself.
I have read a few of Jerry Cole’s books during the year, and although I quite enjoyed Will and Devon’s story, there were some things I didn’t like about this book. The way parts of the story developed just seemed a little unreal, certainly as they would relate to a young man coming to terms with his sexuality. It just seemed a bit strange that everybody seemed so supportive and accepting of Will’s coming out, which happened following his bashing in the gym. I really hope all American college campuses are like the one portrayed in this story, but sadly I suspect that they are not.
In addition, too much time was spent pushing the LGBTQ acceptance and equality message, as important as this is, it was as if the author had forgotten that this was, at its core, a romance novel.
My biggest annoyance with this novel, and this is common with many authors who write in this genre, is the use of euphemisms to describe men’s genitals. I cringed every time reference was made to a ‘wand’, or ‘member’ instead of the common terms of ‘cock’, ‘dick’ or ‘penis’.
The bonus novella “Magic of Love” which followed the main story, although quite a good read, just seemed to have been written by a totally different author.
I cannot picture a twenty-one year old college junior, regardless how intelligent he might be, calling his penis "member" or "tumescence" in any scenario. Not. At. All. Such descriptions and language completely killed any focus or mood of the romantic parts of the book, as a matter of fact, since it sounded like an odd mixture of being something clinical or too flowery from a feminine standpoint rather than a masculine one as the writer clearly intended. Otherwise, Will's dilemma and situation was seriously troubling, highlighting one of the leading causes of suicide in adolescents, teenagers, as well young adults in Will's age group. This book beautifully addressed the problem, positive and negative reactions, along with the hateful, often unintended yet careless/cavalier attitudes and treatment facing many young LGBT people today, so kudos for that.
This was a real tear jerkier for this reader. I gotta be honest, I was completely blown away by both of these stories! In this readers opinion, Mr. Cole has never written a bad book! He is one of a handful of Authors that are on my auto buy list. Mr. Cole has a way of weaving his characters and story lines into a concise and extremely well developed book... I can't put it down; once I start to read any book by Mr. Cole! I await your next release Mr. Cole and thank for continuing to share your wonderful writing skills with your readers. Will Grey is a smart, sensitive, dedicated, nose-to-the-grindstone, college football quarterback whose girlfriend just left him because he's so focused on school and football that he forgets to give her the attention she craves. As he's struggling to deal with the break-up, he goes to see his best friend Devon to help him through it. It's at that point that Devon comes out to him and they kiss and Will's world turns upside down. In this story, another hit for author Jerry Cole, we get to see Will's journey of self awareness as he struggles through a hate crime and real-life anti-gay discrimination that tries to rip away his beloved football, as he realizes that he's in love with his best friend. I love how Jerry lets us see Will's thoughts, feelings, and reactions, written in the first-person, and we get to ride the roller coaster with Will that is his turmoil as he goes through what he goes through to learn who he is, love who he loves, be who wants to be, and still keep his precious football. I enjoyed the book so much I purchased a copy for my e-collection.
